Priyadarshini Seva Mandali works with several projects, including mid-day meal program for the destitute aged citizens, HIV children nutrition projects along with medical support and primary education, Vocational training for women and organizing PPTCT centre for the pregnant women throughout the Khammam town. PSM also has a destitute senior citizens home at Hyderabad for the unprivileged senior citizens.

Over dependence on technology and falling standards in human values have almost killed the humanity. As a result, there is no love towards aged people. Many selfish individuals consider their parents a burden and hence do not hesitate in literally throwing them out of their houses. This leads to the aged people becoming destitute and live without food and shelter for many days. There is no one to care for them when they fall sick. It is these orphaned aged people that PSM takes them under its wings of love n care. 
 PSM, since its inception has relentlessly been striving to better the lives of these orphaned, penurious aged people by providing them the secured shelter, good nutritious food, medical care and attention. We, at PSM also organize outings and entertainment for these aged people to keep them emotionally happy. PSM has an infrastructure that exactly recreates the ambience of an extended family for the inmates. There are 30 aged people living in our old age centre. 
 The impact of our dedicated services to these aged people is felt on the society. To some extent we are able to bring radically positive changes. Generally, the orphaned aged people do not like to be put in ashrams, as they are well accustomed to the street-life of begging. But our efforts in bringing changes in their lives by providing them the new lease of life is still continuing. We can prosper only with your support.
