“What will happen to them after me? I am 80+. I spend sleepless nights,” worries ex-Air Force officer, Group Captain AC Barua while talking about the future of the 28 destitute women under his care. “They have nobody in this world, sometimes they don’t remember their own names. They are absolutely alone,” he informs us as he goes from one room to the other meeting all the women who live at Seneh, the only home where they are loved and taken care of. After fighting for his country all his life, this octogenarian is now fighting to rescue homeless and abandoned women from dying on the streets. But he cannot do it alone. “Everyday I keep on getting calls from here and there. ‘Oh! there’s a woman lying here. Can you help?’ But I don’t dare to go and help because I don’t have the money. I don’t have the resources, our resources are very limited,” explains Gr. Capt. Many times these are women with mental health conditions and considered being a witch due to superstitious beliefs and beaten up as a result. They are victims of domestic abuse or widow mothers who are considered to be a burden on the family. Group Captain Barua has not only rescued them from critical conditions, he has provided them with urgent medical care, food and above all, a free safe shelter where they can live with love and care. Among these residents is Sarala Kalita who fled to save herself from the tortures of her alcoholic husband only to face neglect and trauma from her brothers- and sisters-in-law. “Both my brothers and their wives urged my father to leave me somewhere as they didn’t want to take care of me anymore. One day my brother’s wife didn’t even let me have food at home. She just wanted me to leave and go away. So that’s why, my father got in touch with Seneh through someone, and handed me over to Sir to take care of me,” says Sarita who has found joy in living at Seneh. “Coming to Seneh, it felt like I got a new life altogether. Sir has given me a harmonium. I love singing. It makes me forget everything and takes me to someplace else entirely,” she adds. More women like Sarala can find their way to a loving home like Seneh. All they need is a little bit of your kindness. “It is difficult to make both ends meet”To sustain their daily expenditure, Capt Barua needs approx ₹3 lakh a month and arranging the funds is a mammoth challenge for the NGO. “Our expenses are growing day by day. Residents are growing older, their sicknesses are increasing. At times we have to give them special food. They require more care so we have to get more employees. About half of them require leading around, 1-2 has to be fed also. Roshni: A Small-Business Skill for Indian Women & Girls

Due to Covid-19, the first problem in the rural area is agriculture, which is the most important. The crop of the poor, marginal and small farmer class was destroyed in COVID-19. The loan taken on agriculture is also unable to repay by the peasantry. Today the fields of poor farmers are lying empty, they do not have enough money to buy seeds, fertilizers, pesticides etc. During the COVID-19, they did not get the value of their agricultural produce, which led to the financial crisis at their home. After facing so many problems, the peasant class has neither employment nor money. This pandemic has severely affected the income of the peasantry. Now is the time to sow the crops and these poor farmers have no money to buy seeds, fertilizers, pesticides etc important things. 
 In this affected time, free seeds, fertilizers, pesticides etc will be distributed through this project to provide relief to 500 poor, marginal and small farmers. At present, these farmers are in dire need of seeds and fertilizers as they do not have the funds to buy them. Therefore, this help will bring great relief to the farmers during COVID-19. Along with this, capacity building training will be done with the farmer class, which will increase their efficiency. Under this project, farmers will also be given training of vermi-compost so that the poor farmer can produce organic manure and put it in the fields. This will make the land more fertile and increase production capacity. 
 This project will help the farming class. Poor and marginal farmers will again be able to plant crops in the fields and also capacity building training will increase their work efficiency which will lead to their better livelihood. By making vermi-compost, the fields will become fertile and yield will also increase. The main objective of the project is to make a better livelihood of poor and marginal farmers, and this will be completed through this project.

Fertilizer and Seed Support to Marginal Farmers for Livelihood

In Rajasthan, millions of children drop out of schools at a very early age due to the poor economic conditions of their families. The parents of these children are daily-wagers and earn their living by doing menial jobs like pulling hand-rickshaws. Due to poor economic conditions, these children get miles away from the opportunities of getting educated. 
 Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan , with the cooperation of the donors, will educate 100 rural girl children who are deprived of education through &quot; Pathshala __ Back to School &quot; and will educate them about health, cleanliness and discipline so that there children can be the architects of their own future. 
 These 100 girl children will have a better chance at earning their own livelihood by getting educated, Also, the social segregation which the children from marginalized communities have to face on a daily basis will start to vanish slowly.

Educate Girl In Rural India

Prevent 500 girls across 20 villages of Rajasthan from being pushed into the shackles of malnutrition, illiteracy and poor hyenine inflicted by COVID-19 pandemic. A simple contribution of ₹1,200 can help a girl with either nutritional needs or educational support. A small contribution of ₹250 allows the organisation to provide a hyenine kit to a beneficiary.There are so many young rural and marginalized girls living at home and not able to get proper education, food or hygiene as their parents have lost the means to livelihood due to COVID-19 pandemic. Their savings have also been exhausted. Earlier they managed to work on the farm or at some shops in city but due to the fear of getting COVID-19, no one is providing them employment. Due to the poor financial condition of the family in the corona pandemic, these young girls are not having any education materials. Due to which they are unable to get education stuff, nutrition/food and hygiene materials. 
 In this affected time, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan will conduct Soaring Girls program under which the RSKS India team will select 500 girls from 20 different villages and will provide immediate and direct relief to these rural young girls. Baseline will be done and then the relief of education stuff, nutrition/food and hygiene materials will be provided to these young girls for free. The education material will contain register, copy, pen, geometry box, sketch color, etc. The nutrition/food will contain healthy food and the hygiene materials kit will contain sanitary napkins, sanitizers, soaps, handkerchiefs, etc. necessary materials. 
 Soaring Girls project will help these young rural girls to get education, hygiene and nutrition/food. They will be able to study without any tension and will be hygienic through the hygiene kit and it will also protect them from the COVID-19. The nutrition/ food will make them eat healthy and two times food daily. They will get on nine clouds after getting all these materials for free. There will be improvement in their education level and their health. They will be able to protect themselves and their family through the hygiene kit. Also they will believe on humanity and the suffering of their parents could be decreased.
