SAMUKA MUNNETRA SANGAM (SMS) is a legally registered NGO (Society) working for the welfare of the poor and deprived women and children since 2013. In our project area, the condition of the deprived rural elders is very poor. About 65% of them are uncared for by their relatives. They depend on their son or son-in-law for their basic living and health care needs. Few of them involve landless agri-coolie and others work with meager wages, struggling for their daily bread. They live in small huts in remote villages and slum area. Because of age and illness, they do not perform well at work and are unable work on regular basis. Hence the income level is very low, not even sufficient to buy protective clothing during rainy seasons or to purchase basic health care medicines. The condition of elder widow women is more pitiful; they are denied basic support by their siblings and not even allowed to talk with their grand children. They live with buried feelings. 
 About 148 cases are identified as pro-poor elders, widow elders those are very pathetic in condition in our working area. They live a semi-orphan life at their sibling’s house with careless support. We have to support about 60 of them who are in critical need of support. They are infected by disease and have poor health status and immunity. Through this proposed intervention, we have to provide bedsheets, protective cloths and basic health care medicines, multivitamins for helping them gain strength to cope with their normal lifestyle. We also wish to provide timely guidance and counseling support to ventilate their buried inner feelings till their lifetime. We have so far supported 28 (poor elders and widow elders in our rural working villages) during the year 2017 &amp; 2018 through various health welfare schemes of government and private agencies. We already have a good follow-up in our field through the staffs. 
 This option helps to support over 60 more rural poor elders, widow elders in the rural working area. This donation will highly help to get basic cloths, bedsheets, protective cloths during rainy seasons and will help to cut off the expenses of their medical care expenses, purchase of Vital Medicines, especially the purchase of medicines and vital drugs needed for their life saving. So that they can able to lead their normal lifestyle and cope with their belonging society. About 60 more rural poor disadvantaged elders, particularly elders widow women would get benefited by donations to this project and would have access to basic clothing and basic needs.

In our working area, the deprived rural women, especially the pregnant are in pathetic-vulnerable condition. As they are infected by pandemic disease, the pregnant women are having poor health status and immunity. Thus it is the timely need to support them by providing multivitamins and nutritional products for making them gain strength and assisting medical supports and timely guidance till her delivery. However the Government has given supplementary nutrition to the local village level Balwadis which is given to children but not to pregnant women specifically. Hence this project helps them to providing supplementary Nutrition and Medicines during her pregnancy period, improved their health status and immunity power and helps her to make her labour / delivery in a safe and secured manner. 
 We would like to give the support for 6 months (Two Trimesters). Pregnancy is confirmed around the 3rd month, we look after the women in their last 2 trimesters) We have identified about 178 women are currently in Pregnancy and Caring status in our working block those are poor living conditions who unable to meet their daily expenses, they are struggling for their daily breads and unable to access their health care measures, especially by intake of nutrition food and medicines.. The health and education status of them are very poor.By this project, we have to give “Supplementary Nutritional Pack” which contains, pulses, cereals and greens vegetables, dry fruits etc., and a Medicines kit including Folic Tablets, Vitamin Capsules, Multi Vitamin Tablets, Zinc Tonic etc.,. Each of the 20 women which we would like to support this project will be provided by these items at free of cost and this Supplementary Nutrition Pack and Medicines Kit will be given to Pregnant women for 6 months period (Two Trimesters from 3rd month of pregnancy)We have so far supported 18 (pregnant women infected by HIV/AIDS) cases during the year 2017 &amp; 2018 through various health welfare schemes of government and private agencies We have already good follow-up in our Field through the ORW and we have regular touch they are coming and we are going to their houses so it is not difficult us to meet the every month and taking them to hospital.Under this program we have to support only minimum quantity and restricted population of women in our working area but we need to cover additional women beneficiaries whom are intend need. So as we made this donation option for continuing this project. 
 This option helps to improve the Health status of the rurally poor Pregnant women and affected by HIV/ AIDS and Anemic causes. By providing “Supplementary Nutritional Pack” which contains, pulses, cereals and greens vegetables, dry fruits etc., and a Medicines kit including Folic Tablets, Vitamin Capsules, Multi Vitiamin Tablets, Zinc Tonic etc.,. SAMUKA MUNNETRA SANGAM (SMS) is a legally registered NGO (Society) working for the welfare of the poor and deprived women and children since 2013. In the area of operation, the condition of deprived rural men and women are very poor. About 80% are landless agri-coolie and other works with meager wages, struggled for their daily bread. The living day of the men is pitiable. They work in the land of big owners and get low wage payments and spend almost 75% of their daily wage income for drinking alcohol. This caused very poor health condition and several male in the families have died due to HIV/AIDS infection through illegal sexual affairs. Poverty entangled in low wages, women too were infected by HIV /AIDS and their children too in some cases.About 136 children in our working area are infected by HIV AIDS and have lost their parents to the pandemic diseases. As semi-orphans, they are living in the care of their siblings or grandparent(s). Because of poverty and a rural context, these children are forced to work for earning to support their belonging families are asked to take care of their siblings’ children. Hence they are stopped from the schooling; resulting in increased dropouts in the rural schools. Our organisation is running the evening tuition center to support these children to continue education. More than 150 children are studying in our evening tuition center running across 10 rural villages. 
 We have identified 136 children infected by HIV/AIDS and who lost their parents (single or both) to HIV/AIDS. We are running an Evening Tuition Center to support these children through supplementary education. They are studying in the government schools and receive education material and uniforms at zero cost, but they meet the rest of expenditures such as purchase of additional notebooks, library fee, additional school stationary and fee of excursion etc., The existing evening tuition centres program are conducted under the support of the locals and sponsor are limited and occasional. This proposed project will help to support over 50 more rural children affected by HIV/AIDS with their studies in the evening tuition centre (from Class 3rd Std to 12th Std) and help to continue their studies with additional note books and minimising the struggle of their siblings who they depend upon.  
 We aim to support over 50 more rural poor children who lost their parents due to HIV/AIDS and studying in our evening tuition centre, (from Class 3rd Std to 12th Std). Your contribution will be highly helpful to cut off the expenses of their siblings and care takers who they depend upon for their studies and educational expense needs. These children will get out of the fear and continue their education in a very concentration manner. This will also reduce the dropout rate.

In our working area, the deprived rural women, especially the young widows, and girls are pathetic-vulnerable due to caste discrimination, suffered by social evils, denial of development rights, inadequate employment, low illiteracy etc, they dominated by males in the family and community, struggled for daily bread. The unemployment and the underemployed want help in finding secon¬dary sources of earning. They have tabooed to break the vicious cycle of extreme poverty and again and again for their survival. Hence, this project helps them to get a ride and come out for their extreme poverty circle by providing Alternative employment opportunity through providing skill training on Tailoring with Micro Credit Assistance and with marketing back end supports. 
 We have identified 178 such widows in our working block who undergo poor living conditions who are unable to meet their daily expenses, are struggling for their daily bread, and are in clutches of big owners and money lenders. The health and education status of their children is very poor. They need support in the form of sewing machines and skill-based training opportunities and for setting their own trade units for their economic sustenance. We have so far supported about 194 widows through micro credit linkages in the overall districtWe have conducted this program under the support of the local projects and Government sponsored schemes facilitated number of women to access skill training and providing loans for setting up their own trade unit. Now we are conducting skill development trainings and Entrepreneurial Development Training (EDP) to these women.Under this program, we have to support only minimum quantity and a restricted population of women in our working area but we need to cover additional women beneficiaries who are in need. 
 This option helps to empower the rurally deprived widow women to live with their children and independently through providing skill-based training on tailoring and modern Dressmaking to widows and destitute women. Skill development on these trades will help them to secure their economic sustenance and well-being. The partner NGO will take the necessary step to engage them under the government welfare schemes for loans and the marketing passage will be developed through existing women SHGs. Over 50 more widow women and with 136 of their children and with family members would get benefited by this donation option and have a quality standard lifestyle with sustained economic.
