“I saw a girl, barely 7 or 8, being pushed into flesh trade. Her cries for help still echo in my ears. There were men as old as 60 r*ping the innocent child. For 11-year-old Ravi (name changed) a normal day would start before the sun rose and involved carrying heavy loads up a narrow staircase, in a ramshackle building filled with clouds of toxic smoke. And work rarely ended before nine or ten at night. “The fumes in the stone-polishing factory were such that I would choke and feel suffocated all day long. There was a time when I fell from the first floor and had I not caught onto the railing, I am not sure what would have happened. Support Premanjali to Build Washrooms and Toilets for Underprivileged GirlsEmpowering Girls Through Education and SanitationToilets and Washrooms for GirlsMy name is Premanjali, and I have made it my mission to empower underprivileged girls in the rural villages of Chhattisgarh through education. We run 400 free educational centres across 300 extreme rural villages and are supporting more than 42000 neediest children in rural India through our non profit Sankalp Ek Prayas. I am making an effort to reconstruct toilets and washrooms facilities at our free educational centres running in the extreme rural areas of Chhattisgarh. Most of us are aware that girls are often excluded and face disadvantages when it comes to receiving an education, however we fail to recognize less obvious factors keeping girls from being educated, such as the lack of toilets and washrooms. We have brought these girls into our free quality education system but we are struggling for availability of washrooms and toilets for our adolescent girls. Girls are forced to using nearby fields and risk being harassed by local miscreants. Every day, I visit the homes of these girls, talking to their parents, pleading with them to send their daughters to our free educational centres for their better life through quality education for first generational learners. But what I am facing is heart-breaking. Girls are not coming for education because of something that most of us might take for granted – proper washrooms and toilets facilities. We are witnessing a direct correlation between dropping out of girls and lacking a toilets and washrooms, and it is vital that we work towards the cause. Can we imagine how unfair this is? Most of the girls in rural India can't continue education because they don't have toilets and washrooms at schools and educational centres. And it's even worse when they have their periods. Not having washrooms makes everything much harder for them. It's a reminder that in many parts of the world, girls and women still don't have the same opportunities as boys and men. It makes me sad and angry because it's not right. I don't know how to fix it, and that makes me feel really helpless. Knowing all of this doesn't just make me sad and mad; it also makes me feel like I should do something about it. These girls are real people with hopes and dreams, just like everyone else. They shouldn't have to struggle so much just to have a clean toilet/ washroom. We need to do something to change this. It's not just about toilets; it's about fairness and giving every girl a chance to succeed. We can all do something, like talking about it, or pushing for change. Together, we can make a world where every girl can have a clean and safe toilet and the chance to achieve her dreams. My goal is to ensure that these underprivileged girls are provided with necessary toilets and washrooms facilities during their stay at our free educational centres. I have already built more than 25 such low cost washrooms and toilets and these have immensely helped our neediest girls. For me, it is not just about toilets or washrooms; it's about giving hope, dignity, and a future to those who have been denied the most basic of necessities.I would greatly appreciate support from you. India faces a huge rural-urban education divide in elementary and secondary school education. It is high time to work for bridging the gap. Introducing digital content in rural schools could be an effective step toward this, as digital content, through its interactive nature, makes learning concepts easy to grasp. It also helps teachers to teach in a more demonstrative and effective manner. Our e-Merge in-school project aims at improving the quality of rural education, specially in government run schools.We work with school authorities and villagers to create a progressive and positive learning environment in schools, and the community at large. Our aim is to increase children’s interest in education, their after school engagement in learning activities, improving learning outcomes, preventing dropout from secondary education, and make them ready for the 21st century education system. 
 We are an NGO working for quality education of most disadvantaged children since the past 10 years. We reach out to underprivileged children in economically poor sections for providing them free quality education. Since 2007, we have helped 17000 children. We have prepared e-Learning Modules for Math, English and Science and developed modules for Class I to Class X (in Hindi language). Our trained volunteers go to government schools and complete the syllabus from Class I to X through our e-learning video classes. In 2017-18, we helped 6000 children through this endeavour. Our work has resulted into a huge success and the quantitative results shows a 56% increase in the academic level of children. OUR TARGET1. To help 200 government schools [ 150 children per school in rural areas]2. To provide e-learning solutions by covering syllabi in English, Science and Math for 30000 children 
 IMPACTOur e-Merge project is improving the quality of rural education, especially in government run schools, by giving access to better educational infrastructure such as digital learning tools for children. A total of 45 government schools have appreciated this e-Merge Intervention through certification as a unique intervention for improving the quality education of children in rural areas.
