Share and Care Children’s Welfare Society is serving the needy children since 1984.The main objective is to impart education freely to the underprivileged, orphan children, girl, physically challenged people and children belonging to scheduled caste and tribes in remote villages.We run a crèche,a primary and a high school and impart free education to 200 children. Our School is recognized by the government of Tamilnadu, but not aided. Due to financial constraints, we are unable to pay our teachers and needs of the children are not being met as we wish. Since these children are from poor families they need support for their betterment in this competitive world.This project area is situated in Katchur village, Poondi Block in Tiruvellore district.The children from the remote village have no transportation facilities and most of their parents are illiterate and undernourished. The children need better care and good education to support their families and their communities at large.Our schools are functioning since 1990 exclusively for these children and are now educating 200 children.Most of them work as agricultural labourers, wood cutters. They have seasonal work and no regular job. Bonded labour and child labour still prevail. Sending their children to school is not that important for their parents because of poverty. Unless these children are brought to school by the lure of free transportation, education and mid-day meals, they have every possibility of dropping out.

Over the past financial year 24-25, we've continued to care for one of the most vulnerable sections of society - the elderly, who've been left to rot on the streets. On behalf of the Youth for Uttarakhand (Youth4UK), I am writing to seek your valuable support to empower the economically weaker students of Hiyunla Village of Amori, District Champawat, Uttarakhand. Dudhori village (Amori) comes under Champawat district. This village is 30 kilometers away from Champawat and 10 kilometers away from the main road, a hilly area, where the road is not easy and many facilities are lacking. The children who are being helped in education related matters through our organization, their families are financially weak, some of whom do not have fathers, due to the absence of father, the condition of those children is going through a lot of problems. Due to which they are facing a lot of difficulties in purchasing education related materials and other things also. Through our organization, study related materials have been distributed to economically weaker children in Dudhroi Village (Amori), District Champawat, Uttarakhand in the last 2 years, in which necessary educational materials were provided to 7 children in the last year 2023 and to 10 children in the year 2024. done. The material has been delivered. Some children are in waiting list. Earlier, during the Corona period (2021), our organization had also provided education related materials to the children of Hindu refugees from Pakistan in Adarsh Nagar, Delhi. Our aim is that no child should be deprived of education due to financial constraints. We also want to open a library and computer lab for the children of about 11 nearby villages so that more and more children of that area can take advantage of it and connect with the main stream and contribute to the economic development of the country. EDUCATIONAL  AND NUTRIONAL SUPPORT FOR THE TRIBAL AND DALIT  CHILDREN IN TIRUVALLUR DT

Many teenage girls are now being exploited, sexually abused, and even murdered. Such incidences are being repeated unnoticed. The victims are harassed, confirmed to perpetual torture. These atrocities are not only found among girls in cities and towns but also in remote villages and in slums where girls are always under threat. 
 Our organisation has experience in conducting awareness program for girls studying from 8th to 10th girls in four schools in Goonipalayam, Pondavakkam, Katchur and Uthukotai villages. The program covers child protection policy, child rights, child abuse, sexual reproductive health, and also conducts rallies in which more than 750 girls participated. However, girls in Chennai slums and villages need more intensive training.The project covers 500 adolescent girls studying in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th std selected from 5 schools in Chennai city slums and 5 schools in remote villages in rural areas in Tiruvallur District. These adolescent girls are more susceptible and under threat of exploitation and sexual abuse due to unawareness on how to protect themselves.1.	Holistic development involves physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual well-being. 2.	Awareness of rights, responsibilities, knowledge of various agencies to contact in emergencies.3.	Impart actual training in meditation, yoga and fundamental training in martial art.4.	Counselling is an important aspect of the project.5.	Contact sources for emergency help. 
 	Meditation and Yoga practice enrich the girls with the power of concentration, psychological well being, self-control in adolescent girls.	 Basic martial arts creates and gives confidence and develop self-defence.	 Psychological problems solved through counselling.	 Girls learn about their own child rights.	 Girls learn about the importance of nutritious food.	 The girls will be made aware of the importance of sexual reproductive health.	 Awareness will be given for them to know where and whom to be approached during emergencies.	 They gain the confidence to report their problems to authorities.
