Society for Women's Education Economic Development SWEED which has been functioning since 1989 at Melur in Madurai district, Tamilnadu State covering Madurai district. SWEED is mainly working for Women and Children. We are doing Women empowerment activities for which we motivate the rural and urban women to involve and assist Government and Bank schemes to sustain their livelihood. Besides, we are doing nutrition support for HIV/AIDS and TB-infected people. In Madurai district one of the blocks is called Tirupparankundram wherein more than 50 families of Transgenders are living. They are living very economically suffering for their daily food. At present, due to the COVID and lockdown, they were not able to get any cooli work. And hence SWEED has planned to provide RATION MATERIALS FOR Transgeners. 
 We are planning to provide 20 kgs of Rice, Lentils, Cereals, Handwash Sanitizer, and Mask for 50 families of Transgender. 
 Due to the economic crises and nonavailability of food materials, they are involving immoral activities. If the ration supposes distributed, the immoral activities may be prevented themselves.

PROVIDING RATION (FOOD MATERIALS) TO TRANSGENDER

Free medical camps are set up with a sacred aim to bring awareness amongst the deprived population of the country who have no access to basic healthcare services or knowledge about the diseases they are suffering from. So, medical camps provide free medical advice, medicine to the unfortunate people and refer for specialized treatment or surgery whenever it is required. These camps make sure people are getting the healthcare at the right time, and seeing the doctor early enough before a small health problem turns serious.The objectives are as stated below:<ol><li>Provide free and high-quality medical services for poor population.</li><li>Raise health awareness among the community and teach them to deal with communicable and non-communicable</li><li>Register rare and severe cases and refer them to specialized centers.</li><li>Evaluate the living conditions and determine the obstacles and challenges to work on solving their problems.</li><li>Refer medical cases towards surgeries if required.</li></ol> 
 We are planning to conduct 20 Free Medical Camps in Melur Taluk in Madurai District in South India. The free medical camps will be conducted only in rural areas. These medical camps provide the poor population overall physical examinations which include eyes and health check-up, assessment of the functioning of vital organs like the heart, lungs, digestive system, liver, kidneys and the immune system. Free medical camps are extremely helpful for the poor population who earn a meager income and cannot afford expensive healthcare services offered by hospitals or clinics.Medical camps are conducted by health professionals to carry out a limited health intervention amongst the underprivileged community. The poor attend these camps to get free check-up and treatment. Getting the appropriate kind of health checkup is vital for every human being and while considering it, some important factors like age, lifestyle, family background, and risks are taken into account.We have planned to conduct 20 Free Medical Camps in Melur taluk in Madurai District.Budget: Rs.25,000 for one camp. Therefore 20 camps x 25,000 = Rs.5,00,000 
 Through the medical camps, nearly 500 villagers will be benefited in each camp. These medical camps provide the poor population overall physical examinations which include oral, tental and health check-up, assessment of the functioning , digestive system, liver, kidneys and the immune system. Free medical camps are extremely helpful for the poor population who earn a meager income and cannot afford expensive healthcare services offered by hospitals or clinics.Health examinations and tests at the early stages of the illness can help to cure it faster and save a life before it can cause any damage. One can live longer and healthier only when the individual gets the right kind of health check-up, screening, and treatments. Even the most basic checkups can identify underlying illnesses.

GENERAL MEDICAL CAMPS IN RURAL AREA.

SWEED is working in and around Madurai District in Tamilnadu State, South India. Here disabled students like Polio affected, Semi mentally retard, and Orphan and Semi-orphan students are very suffering to learn their studies. Even they are suffering pay their yearly fees. Since most of their parents are as daily wages and agriculture labors they are not able to pay school/college fees. Besides some students were withheld their studies. Due to the monsoon failure agriculture work was totally stopped and most of the agriculture works are done by the machines. So that village agriculture labors are suffering a lot. 
 We are planning to select very poor students and disabled students and help them for school fees college fees, and technical education's fees like polytechnic and etc. And also we are planning to help for their hostel fees. First priority will be given for women students. Due to the economic crisis most of the girls are stopped their studies. Second priority will be given mark basis.Following education supports will be given:<ol><li>2. College fees - College fees : Rs. 4000 per year</li><li>Hostel fees. Rs. 25,000 per year</li><li>Technical course fees: Rs. 20,000 per year</li></ol>

EDUCATION SUPPORT FOR DISABLED AND VERY POOR STUDENTS.

The Donation Option is only for supporting HIV-infected women and first priority will be given to HIV-infected widows. We never support rich women affected by HIV. The benefits are given in one round - because we are in need to diagnose her health reports periodically. We request them to assemble at our center and deliver the benefits. According to the present need and as per the survey, home visits, and information collected from our field staff, we short-listed ATLEAST 50 beneficiaries needed to start this program. 
 SWEED - Women's development organization has already rich experience in dealing the projects related to providing Medical care for chronically ill HIV-infected women and our Outreach Workers have adequate experience in implementing such programs in the field and they know the beneficiary's psychology, such experience helped and supported us to capture the goal of this program. Our Outreach workers will do home visits and select the real and needy beneficiaries, and case studies for the office. The selection committee will scrutinize and select the beneficiaries of this Donation Option (DO) then the Secretary will give a detailed orientation about the unit cost and type of support provided under this DO and purchase materials and other supports through proper quotation and provide the benefits to the beneficiaries for 6 months. 
 <ol><li>The HIV/AIDS infected women's Hemoglobin and weight will be increased</li><li>Her CD4 Count in the blood will be increased</li><li>The opportunity for infection like continuous fever, cold, and diarrhea will be prevented if the weight is increased.</li><li>They will increase vitality.</li></ol>
