A holistic approach to education – that addresses students’ learning, social and emotional needs – is crucial, especially in times of crisis. School closures related to the COVID-19 pandemic meant that students from diverse backgrounds are at a higher risk of losing support and the extra services they require for their education. are less likely to receive the support and extra services they need. These students are likely to lose the most in terms of educational outcomes and the support provided by schools if countries take insufficient measures to promote educational equity and inclusion. With the pandemic still looming large over our heads, the childhood of Students from marginalised sections of society has been disrupted. Many of them have faced extreme vulnerability because of their family member’s loss of livelihood, they had no access to their peer network and experienced adversities in fulfilling their learning needs. Going forward, the major task of the public education system would be still to welcome back our students to their lost childhood. An equitable and inclusive sports education will help the schools to cope with this daunting task. Sports education symbolizes childhood as it provides joy, experiential learning, an equal playing field and a sense of belongingness. 
 We want to ensure children's right to play and learn. Sports have a tremendous impact on young children and we are working with local community-based organizations and education departments to provide these children with rightful access to play, learn, compete, and prosper. It helps young children, especially girls, learn invaluable life skills like leadership, communication, problem-solving, collaboration and negotiation. These children, who live in some of the remotest places in India, deserve a holistic education.Key Activities to be taken up by ELMS Sports Foundation:<ul><li>Training Workshop: 80 hours of workshop support will be given to NGOs spread across the year.</li><li>Equipment for the schools: Equipment that is required in the schools will be provided to ensure </li><li>Holding the monthly circles: Every month, the NGOs will go through the monthly circle to troubleshoot, share the best practices, and share insights.</li><li>Field visits: Every quarter NGOs will receive 2 days of field support, which will be provided by ELMS Sports Foundation.</li><li>Support in teacher training workshops: ELMS Sports Foundation will provide subject matter expertise to NGOs to organize teacher training workshops. </li></ul> We are raising funds for the equipment for the program and not for the whole program.  Project Chhalaang in the very first year aims to provide 1,00,000 children with a chance to participate in a gender-equitable, inclusive, activity-based, system-driven sports program.Gender equitable classroom:ELMS Sports Foundation is focused to ensure the program results in gender-equitable classroom practices. We do this by focusing on coed activities i.e., girls and boys take part in the same activities, together (at least in primary) and creating activities that are gender-equitable and break down the stereotypical gender roles. This enables boys to see girls as equal peers as well as aids in the development of necessary skills in girls. Improving learnability:ELMS Sports Foundation is focused to ensure the improvement of learnability in all the students, resulting in better cognitive learning outcomes and employability in the long run.Creating a curriculum that is completely gamified and helps students to engage their heads, heart, and hands to solve problems. Mapping problems against age-appropriate life skills and physical skills. A sustainable intervention with students from primary to middle grades helps students journey to achieve developmental milestones, which enables them to perform cognitive tasks better. Building the capacity of the school and community:ELMS Sports Foundation is committed to ensuring sustainability by engaging with stakeholders from the school and the community. We strive to implement these programs by supporting the grassroots NGOs who are already embedded in the communities. Co-building the program with such NGOs who in the long run would inculcate this program as one of their focus areas, which is going to ensure sustainability. Measurable Outcomes at the student level:<ul><li>Enhancement in learning outcomes of the students in physical skills by 35% to 40%, and will improve life skill learning outcomes by 15%.</li><li>Students with athletic potential would be identified and provided requisite guidance and support</li><li>40 hours of yearly physical education would be ensured for every student.     </li><li>Statistically significant improvement of girl child participation in sports activities.</li><li>Statistically significant improvement in attendance in female students. </li></ul>The project will enable the 1,00,000 students to achieve life skill learning outcomes, and physical skill learning outcomes. This will in turn improve the involvement of the girl child in the school processes, empower her in terms of resources, agency, and achievement and help the school to improve its standing on gender equity indicators. The school will become a more fear-free, joyful place, which celebrates childhood and embraces positivity. Local organizations and institutions are deeply involved in the program, which will ensure the cultural sustainability of the program.

Help children have access to a holistic approach to education!

Despite the fact that more than half of India's population is under 25, the country has struggled to get enough representation or make a worldwide influence in sports. To improve and develop their skills and athletic abilities, a sportsperson is required to play a minimum of 100 match play experiences each year, according to FIFA regulations. Children in India, on the other hand, only play in 5–7 tournaments each year, which is just 7% of the necessary minimum. Even the fortunate few who do have the opportunity to participate in competitive sports cannot excel beyond a certain point. Difficulties are paramount for Children from low-income families who have an especially tough time even participating in sports.     The Victory Sports Foundation, which offers regular mentorship and coaching in football and boxing to such children through Victory Sports Hubs, has identified a significant difficulty in terms of enhancing their game-play due to the lack of opportunities to participate in sports tournaments. Despite the fact that the children in these centers are routinely coached, they are unable to frequently put what they have learned into practice. Unless they are exposed to more matches and tournaments, even their coaches are will be unable to assess their on-field strengths and weaknesses. It is therefore critical to organize and participate in multi-level tournaments that will help these kids in improving their gameplay.    
 Victory spots foundation organizes and encourages their children to participate in special sports tournaments to address this gap- thereby enhancing and refine their game skills. These tournaments are simple to organize, cost-effective while providing children with the necessary match and game experiences they require to hone their abilities. Victory conducts these tournaments at three levels.   1. Sports Talent Enhancement Program (STEP) tournaments (Intra-City): These are regular matches that are conducted once a month between clubs in the city.  12 such matches are conducted a year and approximately 100 children participate. The cost of organizing one STEP tournament is Rs 11,000. The total cost for a year is Rs 1,32,000.    2. Outstation (Inter City /State/District Matches): It is important players participate in tournaments outside their cities and districts because they will be exposed to players from different backgrounds and skill-sets. The challenges are more and the competition is higher, offering them more scope to enhance their skills and move up in the skill ladder. This year, we are planning to take our teams to participate in 6 such tournaments. The cost for the Victory team participating in these matches (including their travel and accommodation) is Rs. 44,000 per tournament. The total cost for a year is Rs 2,64,000.  3.  Vivekananda Tournament: This is Victory Sports Foundation’s flagship tournament, impacting clubs from over 10 districts in Tamil Nadu. The program reaches out to over 1000 children youth across the state, giving them a platform to participate in a State level tournament. Conducted once a year, the total cost for organizing the tournament is Rs. 4,00,000.   
 Tournaments are significant in the area of sports. They are important not only for the participants but also for the coaches and football managers. Some of the outcomes are listed below   1. Skill Development: Participating in competitions allows athletes to improve not only technical but also tactical abilities in their sport.   2. Helps in Scouting: Tournaments may be used to identify strong players and new talent by monitoring their performance.  National scouters also scout for talented players from such state and district tournaments. 3.Promotes sports popularity: Tournaments aid in the promotion of sports. It piques people's interest in that particular sport.    4.Entertainment Source: Sports competitions give plenty of entertainment for spectators and creates sports culture among public. 5.Enhances social skills: Sports competitions help players develop social qualities such as tolerance, compassion, collaboration, and group cohesion.   6.Promotes cohesion: Sports competitions aid in the development of national unity and brotherhood as well as international unity and brotherhood.   7. Alignment with GOI objectives: Through its Fit-India program, the government has reaffirmed its commitment to a fitter nation. Practicing in tournaments do just that.   8. Alignment with UN SDG- Tournaments also helps contribute to UN SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and UN SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities by providing a level playing field for children from all backgrounds.  Our aim is to ensure that all our students who come from diverse and underprivileged backgrounds have access to quality sports via tournament participation which will help them in their game play, overall health, fitness levels.  Some of the measurable indicators include.   <ul><li>Improved sports performance.   </li><li>Increase in child’s involvement in sports.   </li><li>Locally run, grassroots tournaments.   </li><li>Improvement in endurance, stamina, flexibility, and mental well-being.   </li><li>Increase in the number of underprivileged children accessing sports.   </li></ul>

The Ultimate Foundation is a golf foundation where we run a program for underserved children by identifying golf talents in their early age and then provide them the means to train to become a professional golfer. This involves giving them coaching from certified trainers, physical fitness, access to golf tournaments and also providing them the nutrition to help become an athlete. Along the way, there are some kids who may not want to become pro golfers. For them, we make sure to prepare them for jobs that will help them earn a livelihood outside of golf
