Due to rise in prices of every goods and also due to increase in the number of orphan children, the expenses are rising for almost on every item every month during Covid-19 Pandemic and subsequent lock down. With the result shopkeepers /vendors are insisting for regular payment every month or else at times they are stopping our supply of food stuff etc. Shopkeepers /suppliers are insisting for regular payment every month, which we are unable to make. 
 Keeping in view the above constrain, we have been advised by some kind donors to evolve a scheme of sponsorship of the children. Under this scheme if the donor who wishes to sponsor one or two children will make the contribution of equivalent amount monthly on regular basis. In this process we in the orphanage would come to know about the fixed amount that we would receive from the donors every month. We would then be able to work out our expenses every month accordingly. After careful consideration we have decided to fix Rs 1000/- (Rs. One thousand only) per month in respect of each orphan child to meet his food and other expenses toward school and other activities.We will therefore request you is kindly sponsor as many children as possible and make an equivalent payment every months @Rs.1000/-per child per month toward the above scheme. In this way we will come to know the total amount that we will receive every month and will work out our expenses and tide over our difficulties accordingly. 
 This continuous endeavor of Antyodoy Anath Ashram will bring the smile of more than 200 destitute children provided by basic needs viz food, shelter and education of orphan children and destitutes of the vicinity have culminated in today’s Antyodoy Anath Ashram, an orphanage per excellence, where about hundred children from the downtrodden stratum of the society are being brought up under the watchful eyes of the ashram management. In the pristine rural idyllic backdrop, the cozy nest for such fledglings is run with a holistic approach to nurture a child with all fragrances of life like learning of music, dance, drawing and yoga etc. Antyodoy Anath Ashram have not been leaving any stone unturned during the last two decades to provide them a place, they can call home, now being showcased by the district administration of Purba Medinipur.

Antyodoy Anath Ashram purpose is to promote the holistic development of the child through loving care in a homely atmosphere with adequate nutrition and healthy social interaction, and to educate all children till they are old and mature enough to venture out independently. Currently, we house 170 school going boys and girls. These children are orphans from rural areas who do not get access to education due to poverty. We are committed to provide them quality education and better future.We have children who are currently pursuing their engineering, diploma in nursing, high school and primary education and Skill training . Paying their yearly fees and giving them the best education has been a challenge because of financial constraints. 
 -To ensure education for all the orphan and single parent children living in the orphanage by sending them to school and continue to provide quality education-To make children intellectually competent-To build up good moral character of students 
 170 children will get education which will teach children about the world they live in, which allows them to understand and appreciate their lives<ul><li>Give them self confidence</li><li>Enable them to become independent</li><li>Face the society without any thoughts of inferiority which are currently prevailing their minds.</li></ul>

Help Rural Bengal Covid Patients by Providing Oxygen & Medical Aids

An orphanage named "Antyodoy Anath Ashram", located in Paunsi, Midnapore district of West Bengal, India dwells 140 children and is led by a visionary man Mr. Balaram Karan. The orphanage makes sure that the children are leading lives in a very sustainable way. Antyodoy Ashram has been receiving funds from public organizations until last year. Unfortunately, by the advent of the pandemic, those organizations took a big hit and hence the flow of funds has reduced by a large margin. This has created a big negative impact and currently the orphanage is facing a shortage of basic or sustainable funds. Added to that, the orphanage faces some challenges, for example, organising an English medium of instruction with good teachers . Beyond Vista wishes to help regarding the same. 
 Beyond Vista wishes to play a role in supporting Antyodoy Anath Ashram with funds collected as charitable contribution from friends and well-wishers in the network of Stichting Beyond Vista, Netherlands. The funds will be collected after organizing a fund raiser promotion event which will educate the participants on the background of the orphanage and our objective and the impact that it would cause. The event will invite people from all over the world (primarily from India and the Netherlands), the goal of which is to reach out to create awareness to as many people as possible.. The funds will be disbursed in cash or kind (or partially both) as agreed with authorities of Antyodoy Anath Ashram in the year 2021 to meet the basic necessities of the orphanage, e.g. education, food, infrastructure upgrade of the environment. Contributors will have full right to information and funds donated from Beyond Vista. 
 We aim to introduce the cause to as many people as possible in our virtual network. This should instigate a motivation to donate funds, in cash or in kind, hopefully with a sustainable initiative. We expect people to contribute by volunteering, making a fixed contribution per year based on a specific cause, for example: choosing to bear the educational expenses for one child, etc. With a sustainable stream of funds, Antyodoy Ashram should be able to sustain itself and organise better facilities for their students.

Antyodoy Anath Ashram runs an Orphanage for abandoned and destitute children since 1995 at Paunsi, a remote village in Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal state in India. The journey of Antyodoy Anath Ashram is truly a fascinating one. The journey that started about 25 years back in 1995, through the emotional act of a local inhabitant, Sri Balaram Karan, by giving shelter to a hapless child of a nearby locality, has culminated to today’s Antyodoy Anath Ashram, an orphanage per excellence, where a good number of destitute children are being brought up under the watchful eyes of the Ashram management. It is a fascinating story of a great journey, initiated by one single person, Sri Balaram Karan, an inhabitant of the village, who impulsively brought home an unfortunate orphan in a chilly evening, whom he found desperately searching for food from a garbage bin, at an adjacent locality.The orphanage, which was set up sometime in 1995 and it was registered in the year 2004 under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act. 1961.The journey, which had started by saving one child, has culminated to today’s Antyodoy Anath Ashram, giving shelter to about 170 hapless children. Sri Karan did not spare any efforts during the last two decades to provide them a place, they can call home.Besides formal education, children are also learning music, dance, drawing and painting here. Some of them are academically brilliant too, pursuing higher studies now.The journey was never an easy one but Sri Karan tenaciously latched onto it overcoming so many odds with his indomitable spirit, courage and commitment. He had to sell whatever little he possessed and even begged at times to feed the children.Situation however, improved a little in 2004, when the news of his relentless struggle came out in a leading newspaper. Many came forward spontaneously, extending support to his crusade. AAA works with both deserted, helpless children and women in and around the district of Purba Medinipur, West Bengal through its different projects. Antyodoy focuses on destitute children care &amp; protection, adolescent girl, women, education and health. Antyodoy strives to nurture, protect and care the orphan children who have no homes, or single parents disowned by the relatives. AAA purpose is to promote the holistic development of the child through loving care in a homely atmosphere with adequate nutrition and healthy social interaction and to educate all children till they are old and mature enough to venture out independently. AAA activities are framed on the belief that an organization like ours should do more than just provide temporary material relief to the suffering. Antyodoy Anath Ashram support is designed to give people the means to provide for their own welfare for the rest of their lives. This makes them not to remain dependent on the hands-outs of a charity. ‘Instead of giving fish to the starving, teach them how to catch fish’.Apart from the orphanage, the Antyodoy Anath Ashram has also initiated many philanthropic activities in the area. Setting up of free primary school, vocational &amp; job oriented training, Initiatives for higher education, relief services during natural calamities, charitable dispensary, empowerment of adolescent girls, creche and celebration of different types of festivals are glaring examples in this direction.The Founder and Secretary of Antyodoy Anath Ashram, Sri Balaram Karan has received many awards for his contribution to the society including “Ananya Samman” from Zee 24 Ghanta, a leading Bengali News Channel.
