Inchara Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, operating since 2008 in Karnataka with support from well-wishers and donors. Project ANGEL is one of our major initiatives for prevention of child sexual abuse. We have reached out to over 45000 children and 4000 adults till now, helping the children to break the silence and protect themselves. Inchara Foundation has been selected by Deshpande Foundation as one of the most innovative hub partners under their Sandbox Samvidha initiative. Inchara Foundation is committed to the cause of children, especially who are in need of care and support. Inchara Home For Children, a specialized support center for survivors of child sexual abuse by providing care, support, counseling, A rehabilitation centre has been established, first of its kind in Mangalore, Karnataka (approved by the Department of Women and Child), currently hosting 20 children and has served more than 63 children so far. Apart from Project Angel and the home for children, the foundation is also focusing on model safe schools and safety audits of schools to provide a safe and healthy ecosystem for holistic care and protection for children.
