For a mother who has spent her entire life loving and raising her child, being beaten and mercilessly thrown out onto the streets by her own son is too heartbreaking to overcome. But this is a common story among the elderly residents of the Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram. “I’ve seen mothers in old and torn clothes, their bodies smelling and their hands and feet rotting and covered in maggots,” shares Dr. G.P. Bhagat, founder of the ashram. These abandoned elderly men and women lay starving on the streets hoping for someone to rescue them from their suffering. “The abusers insert a candle or fingers in the vagina of children torture them. If the children don’t relent even then, the abusers put chilli powder so that children will say “yes” because of the burning of the skin… There are teeth marks on their bodies, and their vaginal parts are burnt. When children stay in these conditions, it is painful even to hear,” says Lalitha SA of the Society for Participatory Integrated Development (SPID), while talking about many heart-rending stories of trafficked children in red-light areas. In over three decades, the team of SPID led by Lalitha, has saved over 3000 children from the red-light areas in Delhi, such as GB Road, and many from clutches of sex trafficking. Amidst the Coronavirus lockdown in India, it has adversely affected Lakhs of daily wage earners, servants, construction workers, daily labourers, Rickshaw-pullers, Balloon sellers, and so on, who have no means of income to feed their families for the next few weeks.  It is important that in times like this we show solidarity and come forward to help the ones in need. Lakshhya Society is on a mission to make Peoples more aware of and ready to fight the pandemic. 
 We have started this campaign to raise funds for the same.The money raised will be used to:● A grocery kit will contain sufficient quantities of 5 kg wheat/rice, oil, sugar, tea, 2 kg lentils, soaps, and a coronavirus awareness pamphlet. The cost of feeding and sustaining a whole family for 2 weeks is only 700 rupees. ● Give free masks and sanitizers to help prevent the spread of the virus. 
 We are trying to help the families (Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh) of these daily wage earners by supplying them with a GROCERY KIT that can sustain their families for the upcoming 2 weeks, or even more than that.

The lack of sufficient funds is the main problem in the development of education. Our education system is based on basis education. The dropout rate is very high in primary and secondary level. Most of the students in 6-14 age groups leave the school before completing their education.Large number of primary schools have no buildings, needless to mention the status of basic facilities like drinking water, sanitation and hygiene, electricity, furniture and study materials etc. 
 Through awareness drives and various activities, awareness is generated among parents and local communities about the importance of basis education. Lakshhya Society conducts multiple activities in schools that help them learn their rights, build skills and develop confidence. We also train teachers, work towards strengthening the schools' infrastructure, provide books and other learning materials to children and schools in need. 
 The organization has successfully provided educational opportunities in areas deprived of such facilities, benefitting the middle and lower income groups in the process
