The Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram has a dedicated rescue team that saves the elderly from the streets and gives them immediate medical care upon their arrival at the home. To tend to the multiple health complications of the seniors, the home has a medical facility with doctors and nurses, a physiotherapy unit, a pathology lab, a digital X-ray monitoring machine and a pharmacy to provide 24-hour care to older adults anytime they require assistance, even during emergencies. Since the year 2003, Manav Seva Educational and Charitable trust are working for the neediest section of the society in Sanand Block. Manav Seva thematic area covers health, education, natural resource management and the environment. During the year 2019 -20 Manav Seva reached more than 16000 lives through its various projects. From which about 4620 lives belong to SC /ST population. We have distributed 10,000 mask, 5000 sanitizer battle and 150 face guard In various groups of society those who were fighting upfront for the pandemic situation such as , Police, medical and Para medical staff, fruits and vegetable vendors, street vendors, milk distributors, medical shops, Municipal employees etc. This life saving distribution drive help us to control the spread of virus in our vicinity.</li><li>Immediate relief work for the poorest of the poor: Manav Seva trust immediately started the relief work for the worst affected group of the society such migrant laborers, daily wage earners, and the poorest of the poor sections of the society. We have decided to distribute the readymade Ration kit for the people in accordance with the daily food need of the locality, this ration kit includes, Face mask, Sanitizers, Wheat flour, gram flour, Gram, Sugar, bathing soap, salt, Masalas, vegetable oil etc. This immediate relief provided by Manav Seva to 1740 Household of the vicinity.</li><li>Community Kitchen set up: Manav Seva Trust started a community kitchen for the local people to make sure thatno one suffer with starvation in the locality. We have started the community kitchen from 30th of April 2020 and we continued till now with various collaborations. Every day 250 people who are need come to community kitchen and take the food. This intervention gave the confidence to front worker to fight with Covid-19 situation. We have taken this initiative to the next level and provided the food to the covid 19 hospitals of Taluka Sanand. Patient of Covid 19 also served the food.</li><li>Blood donation Camp: Manav Seva Trust organized a blood donation camp during the lockdown so that the regular person those who are in need of urgent blood transfusion would not suffer therefore in collaboration with Red cross society we have organized a blood donation camp and successfully we received 40 donors.</li><li>Foot wear distribution for the Poorest of the poor families: Taking into consideration regular help for the children and families of the poorest of the poor sections of the society we have also distributed foot wear to the families those in needs. 147 Distributed in the vicinity.</li><li>Felicitation ceremony for the covid warriors: Manav Seva trust took an opportunity to felicitate the covid warriors for their selfless, dedicated services during the pandemic. Municipal workers, police personnel, Medical and Para medical, fire station officers and other government officials were working day and night to fight this pandemic situation.</li></ul>
