“We received a distress call saying that a blind girl is being held captive by a woman and is being forced to beg. Our volunteers were able to rescue that girl and bring her to the Blind Welfare Society home for girls. We cared for her and educated her. Today that girl is a senior government official”, says Asha Bhola, President, Blind Welfare Society (BWS) as she recalls how her organisation has been able to transform lives.BWS has been a ray of hope for 40 such blind girls, many of whom have been abandoned by their families owing to their visual impairment. Sadly, the care, shelter and education for blind girls come at a cost, and BWS is unable to keep its work going. If they don’t receive education, they will remain uncared for. They will continue to be ignored by not just their families but even by society at large. Whatever I am today is only because of the education I received. But sadly, every blind girl is not as fortunate. “The major problem in society today is the stigma against mentally ill or mentally disabled people. Families feed and care for men who are mentally ill and keep them at home. But no one wants to help women with mental illnesses,” says N Vanitha Rengaraj, chairperson of Sharanalayam.Sharanalaym’s ‘Jothi’ is a sanctuary for over 100 women facing mental challenges. So by FOMO(Fear of missing out) I again bought on high price and sale low price.(lately I known that its mostly happened with new peoples. Anyway It was continue in losses. I was totally Faded. But I wasn't totally broke, I didn't give up/loose myself. So I started future trading to compensate my losses and stand, Bounce back again. And slowly I lost everything in few days from all my wallet balance. I didn't Blame anyone, and I agree that the whole journey was my fault. In a post pandemic world where 'normalcy' is being reinvented for all, the coronavirus crisis has delivered an additional blow for those with disabilities – a complete breakdown of their cultivated ‘routine’ and the absence of ‘hands on’ attention in a familiar environment.  Since April, our focus has shifted to the development of an online model of training. We have since digitised all our content for the trainees in terms of instructional videos and methodology for live classes conducted in real time. Through this crisis, we have come to recognise that individuals with mild to moderate IDD are more or less amenable to remote learning. We are enhancing this remote learning model, to provide access to our programs for a greater number of individuals with IDD. ﻿ However, most of our students come from financially stressed backgrounds and are thus unable to access facilities to continue with digital learning.Our aim is to use your support to provide our students with the tools they need to continue their learning- internet connectivity, laptop, smartphones, tablets and such other essentials.With your help we aim to train over 500 mentally challenged youth so that they are able to lead their lives with dignity, with independence and be able to contribute to their family financially.
