For a mother who has spent her entire life loving and raising her child, being beaten and mercilessly thrown out onto the streets by her own son is too heartbreaking to overcome. But this is a common story among the elderly residents of the Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram. “I’ve seen mothers in old and torn clothes, their bodies smelling and their hands and feet rotting and covered in maggots,” shares Dr. G.P. Bhagat, founder of the ashram. These abandoned elderly men and women lay starving on the streets hoping for someone to rescue them from their suffering. If the children don’t relent even then, the abusers put chilli powder so that children will say “yes” because of the burning of the skin… There are teeth marks on their bodies, and their vaginal parts are burnt. When children stay in these conditions, it is painful even to hear,” says Lalitha SA of the Society for Participatory Integrated Development (SPID), while talking about many heart-rending stories of trafficked children in red-light areas. In over three decades, the team of SPID led by Lalitha, has saved over 3000 children from the red-light areas in Delhi, such as GB Road, and many from clutches of sex trafficking. Yet, many adolescent girls face stigma, harassment and social exclusion during menstruation. Transgender men and non-binary persons also face discrimination due to their gender identity, depriving them of access to the materials and facilities they need.Gender inequality, discriminatory social norms, cultural taboos, poverty and lack of basic services like toilets and sanitary products can all cause menstrual health and hygiene needs to go unmet.

Today in society specially in Higher , Upper and Middle class family all girls and women are very confident in life because they get right opportunity. They have car and scooty so they can learn easily. Still girls and women are struggling in rural and urban slums and lower middle class. For many reason they are loosing their hope and self confidents. In society do not want to see other growth. Many adolescents girls and women have became alone due to COVID-19 pandemic in last two years. Someone lost their parents someone lost her husband. Which is taking towards depression stress and vulnerability. 
 We would like to trained driving LMV/HMV 250 girls and women every year. They will be also trained in basic repair of vehicle, First AID and Road safety. 
 Learning Driving, Repairing, First Aid and Road Safety skills will boost young girls and single women. It will build their self confidence and self respect.It will create prepare 250 new solider every year who can help local administration during disaster. Who can help society in emergency situation. They will find alternative for their livelihood too.

Stree Uddan

Around 99% of the women from scheduled caste backgrounds are involved in the sanitation occupation. Due to caste, no or less education, less remuneration, poverty, the large family size they are in this occupation. They face several problems from their male colleagues, seniors or juniors. The existing trade union where men and women work doesn’t give them equal status in the organisation, therefore, women participation in the decision making is less. If any women sanitation worker face problem their organisation is not capable to solve the problem therefore, it is the women's wish to start their alliance where women will lead, work to solve the women’s problems. After hearing their concerns Strivajin Foundation have come forward to help them to create their nationwide alliance. 
 Strishakti Safai Karmachari Alliance is India’s one of the active alliances where women from across country is coming together to form women sanitation workers alliance. They will be establishing own platform to solve their problems. We are helping them to build alliance strong and usefulness. It will ensure welfare of women sanitation workers in pan India. We have started functioning in states such as Maharashtra, Delhi &amp; NCR (NCR including UP and Haryana), Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan. We are mobilizing them, motivating them; train them for better livelihood options. We are training them in financial literacy, public health and menstrual hygiene, lot more such topics where they will get knowledge and empower themselves. This alliance also tries to solve their present occupation problems.  
 This initiative will connect women sanitation workers across country. Make them educate, empower and enable for better life. It will establish nation wide network to ensure welfare of women and there families. It will help girls to complete their higher education. It will help women sanitation workers to adopt alternative green business and other livelihood.
