The districts of Vijayawada, Guntur, Hyderabad, Vadodara, Wayanad have been particularly hard hit, with both being completely marooned. Help the most vulnerable citizens affected by India's longest and worst ever heatwave- ActionAid

The spike in COVID-19 cases after Unlock has highlighted the challenge of containing the outbreak more vigorously in the next two to three months. Prompt identification of early signs and symptoms can play a crucial role in isolating those infected and breaking the chain.This is even more important in rural areas, where is very little or no awareness about hygiene and preventive measures. Social distancing is not too much of an option in these small hutments, where there is barely enough roof over their heads for everyone. If even one person gets infected, the virus would spread exponentially in these villages.There is a lack of adequate Covid-19 testing facilities in the interior villages. Even basic screening facilities like a temperature check or oxygen level (SpO2) check are not available at majority places.With thousands of underprivileged people now moving around in search of jobs, prevention and early identification is the only way to control the spread. 
 With the support of our brave front-line responders - medical practitioners, nurses &amp; volunteers, we are now distributing Early Detection Kits for prevention that include :<ul><li>A Pulse Oximeter - to regularly monitor SpO2 (oxygen) levels and pulse rate</li><li>A Digital Thermometer - to regularly check body temperature</li><li>A Steam Inhaler - to keep seasonal colds &amp; flu at bay</li><li>Tarpaulin Sheet - 12’ x 15’ to create an isolated space in their houses if required</li><li>5 Masks - to protect those going out of the house</li></ul>Along with teaching how to use the equipment and the normal parameters range, our volunteers are also spreading awareness w.r.t identifying the early signs and symptoms when to visit a Primary Healthcare Centre. Importance of social distancing, correct methods to cough/sneeze, wash hands, etc. are being emphasized again. 
 We have already reached out to 1 lakh+ under-privileged villagers since 25th March in our ongoing drive #CoronaSeKaruna of distributing Hygiene Kits and Grocery Kits across 255+ backward &amp; tribal villages of Raigad district, just 90 kms from Mumbai.We have distributed 12,142 kits Hygiene Kits and 6,726 kits Grocery kits as on date, equivalent to 48,42,720 meals.The State Disaster Management Authority has felicitated us with an award at the hands of District Collector Ms. Nidhi Chaudhari &amp; Maharashtra Cabinet Minister of State Ms. Aditi Tatkare for our exemplary efforts to support 1lakh+ villagers during Covid-19.We will continue to strive towards uplifting the lives of under-privileged in the interiors of Maharashtra. Regular updates about our work are shared on our Insta &amp; FB pages (@mission2020.me)A donation of INR 3000 can provide an Early Detection Kit to one family. We are appealing to support us in helping over 4 lakh people affected by Hyderabad Floods to rebuild their lives. Hyderabad has experienced the worst ever floods, the biggest in the last 100 years. It has disturbed the lives of over 4 lakh people uprooting 35 thousand families, forcing most of them to take refuge in relief camps. Total loss is estimated at over 9000 Crore. 238 colonies were inundated, roads were damaged in 150 places, 26 lake embankments in Hyderabad were eroded and BT roads were damaged in 445 places.As a response United Way of Hyderabad has provided the first response by providing food for stranded families and now seeking support from you all to provide. 
 <ul><li>Survival Kit (comprising of Home Essentials &amp; Sanitation Needs To Suffice A Family Of 5 For 15 Days): Each Kit Would Need INR 2500 Sponsorship.</li><li>Making Home Liveable (cleaning, Minor Civil Repairs, Electrical And Plumbing Repairs): Each House Would Need INR 35,000 Sponsorship</li><li>Rebuilding Homes (construction Or Major Repairs): Each House Would Need INR 5.5 Lakh To 6.5 Lakh Sponsorship</li></ul> 
 We will reach out to support flood affected families with immediate relief. We have come up with a basic survival kit for immediate help. This immediate help kit has two components:<ul><li>Food Item- Rice, Atta, Daal, Oil ,Some spices, Biscuits etc</li><li>Hygiene /Essential items- Soaps ,Handwash, Detergents ,Oral Essentials, Sanitary pads ,Masks, etc.</li></ul>We have also looked into Rehabilitation Support by:<ul><li>Cleaning and repairing of houses</li><li>Construction of damaged houses</li><li>Health Camps at most affected locations</li></ul>
