If they are ill or injured, they are never given treatment. They are tied up in small spaces. Where there is space barely for 10, they keep 20, 30 or even 40 buffaloes. And these animals spend their entire life in these painful conditions", says Dr Asher Jesudoss, Director, People For Animals (PFA) Public Policy Foundation, who has been fighting to save farmed animals from torture. According to him, several crude, illegal and violent methods/practices are used to extract milk from cattle, which leave thousands with illnesses. “Labour pains are induced in cattle by injecting drugs; they are made to forcefully let down milk twice a day unnaturally. Their calves are pulled away and are not allowed to drink their mother’s milk. Cattle, bred for profit and abandoned after they stop producing milk, are often found malnourished, injured or sick on city streets. Many face bitter winters, starvation and death in road accidents - a sad fate for cows in a country where they are revered by lakhs of people. To save cows from such a sad end, Swami Ishwar Das started Shree Krishnayan Desi Gaushala, currently home to 18,000+ abandoned cows. But with the rising costs of fodder and medicines, he is struggling to provide the quality of care such mistreated animals deserve. “It was in 2010 when I witnessed abandoned cows from the streets in Uttarakhand being transported in a truck. The cows were administered anesthesia and stacked one above the other like lifeless goods. When me and a few of my acquaintances brought the cows off the truck, two of them died before my eyes and that sight shook me to the core. It was then that I started Shree Krishnayan Gaushala with 11 abandoned cows in a small donated land,” says Swami Ishwar Das.Swami Ishwar Das is unable to bear the rising cost of nutrition and medical care for injured cows and needs support to continue to save these voiceless animals. Wild Tiger Foundation is a CSR initiative by Wild Tiger Rum and friends. It’s a registered non-profit organization headquartered in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu – India that will focus on the conservation of the Tiger &amp; it’s habitat by raising funds and creating awareness. It’s founded in 2015 by drinks entrepreneur, Gautom Menon and Coimbatore based businessman Suprej Venkat.The primary focus will be the conservation of Tigers and their habitats within the state of Kerala, Karnataka and TN, specifically Parambikulam Tiger Reserve in Kerala and Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve in Tamil Nadu. Wild Tiger Foundation will act as influencers and enablers. For certain activities we shall do so for our on-ground partner Centre for Wildlife studies (CWS) as a part of our long term objectives. CWS is a worldwide organization with a goal of reversing the decline of many wildlife species and their habitats. The Indian wing of the organization is dedicated to save the Tigers and other Indian wildlife through science, conservation, education and the management of several national parks.CWS employs a multi-pronged conservation strategy that includes cutting-edge wildlife research, context specific conservation models and passionate local interventions. They combine long term collaborations with local communities to resolve conflicts and reduce their impacts on wildlife, with careful policy interventions. They build national conservation capacity at all spatial and social scales with the help of partners that include Central and State governments, local and international NGOs, media, social leaders and passionate community conservation leaders.

Protecting tiger habitatProtecting tiger territories against rapid development is crucial to their continued survival. India has 50 Tiger Reserves that safeguard critical tiger habitats and although the tiger population has seen a small rise, it still is critical and needs our help. Stop the demand in Tiger parts.Maintaining and enforcing laws banning trade is crucial to stopping trade in Tiger parts. Urging the international community to end all trade in Tiger parts from any source and encourage consumers of tiger products to stop the unsustainable use of these products. Wild Tiger Foundation’s efforts have been focused on habitats within the state of Kerala, Karnataka and TN specifically Parambikulam Tiger Reserve in Kerala and Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve in Tamil Nadu and now it takes its message to the world with #ROARTRIP. 
 A campaign to drive awareness and action across borders, the RoarTrips aims not just to raise funds to propel efforts in Tiger conservation but also to drive action through policy and local community action. Funds raised through this endeavor will be guided by WPSI towards efforts in tiger conservation, research and equipping the unsung heroes: the anti-poaching watchers and forest guards of the Sathyamangalam and Parambikulam forest reserves in Kerala and south India.
