    • Niramay

      Description

      Collaborated with the Assam state government and NGO Piramal Swasthya to launch “Niramay,” a pilot program to strengthen digital healthcare infrastructure. We supported the deployment of AMRIT, a technology platform developed by Piramal Swasthya to create and store electronic health records. AMRIT was deployed in 24 health centers, three primary care clinics, and three first referral units to enable faster diagnostics, telemedicine interactions, and collection of medical data at the grassroots level.

    • Tvaran (startup accelerator program)

      Description

      Cisco and Villgro®, an Indian social enterprise incubator, joined forces to launch Tvaran, an India-based startup accelerator program. Seven winning startups, all led by women entrepreneurs, were selected to participate in Tvaran’s inaugural year and received support, resources, and mentorship. These startups address various facets of climate resilience—including waste management, sustainable agriculture, plastic waste reduction, and sustainable mobility.

    • Cisco’s Takeback and Recycle Program

      Description

      Cisco significantly reduces the environmental impact of used electronic products through its end-of-life programs. Cisco Customer Recycling Solutions is designed to harvest and reuse the materials contained in the equipment collected. Products are disassembled and then processed to retrieve materials such as steel, aluminum, copper, plastics, etc. We return these materials to the market where they are made into new products. More than 99 percent of the electronics sent for processing are recycled. Cisco's Customer Recycling Solutions enables you to properly recycle products that have reached their end of useful life. Customer Recycling Solutions offer the following benefits:
      Convenient pick-up at customer location.
      Equipment returned to Cisco is managed in an environmentally safe manner.
      On request, Cisco can provide a Certificate of Recycling for equipment returned through Cisco Customer Recycling Solutions.
